Biography
Sheikh Ishaque Abdallah, widely known as Sheikh Shankiki, is a dedicated Islamic scholar, Imam, and community leader based in Ghana. His public service reflects a sustained commitment to faith, ethical leadership, and social responsibility.
His family journey is rooted in spiritual transformation and sacrifice. His father, formerly known as Robert Donkoh, embraced Islam and became Abdulai Donkoh. Together with his wife, Ama Hawa, the family relocated from Owomase in Ghana's Central Region to Mankessim to prioritize Islamic education for their children.
Despite hardship and material constraints, the family remained steadfast in faith and learning. Their perseverance enabled their children to acquire Islamic knowledge with sincerity and purpose, establishing a legacy of devotion, discipline, and trust in Allah.
Today, Sheikh Ishaque Abdallah carries this legacy forward through scholarship, institution-building, and compassionate community service, guided by the values of sincerity, knowledge, dignity, and service to humanity.
